EXIT (XPERIMENT) is a project initiated by the students of the Academy of
Fine Arts, in the hope of creating a space for exhibitions and events
that can be organized by students. AG_SPACE is working at the moment
on a concept and is negotiating with the rectorate the conditions for

Every second wednesday, two hours before the UV-meeting, at 3 pm. at the ÖH office, the interref (meeting of departments and studyrepresentatives) takes place. This meeting should be used for communication and coordination within the ÖH, but as well offer students a regular basis to participate and to bring in criticism, ideas or wishes, etc. into the ÖH work.

This meeting is also generally open to everyone, feedback by the students is always welcome!

The Universityrepresentation (UV)-Meeting takes place every second wednesday at 5pm at the ÖH office during semester. You find us in the mainbuilding at Schillerplatz at room E5

The access to networks, wich are woven inside between and around (art)universities is one of the most important things to be learned within the studies in order to pursue an artistic “carreer”.
The ones who want to be “successful” have to start participating in the closed and limited access system of the Academy or other structures. Often this networking is limited within the individual institutions and even more inside of the classes.

We, the federal ÖH are presenting our demands of changes in the universities this Wednesday from 6pm on in the Aula at the Schillerplatz: new concepts for financing and organising the universities, of quality in teaching, social coverage and science. Its the output of the work of a half year in 5 open working groups (more infos below and in the attachment)

There’ll be an appointment committee for the professorship for figurative painting,
the first meeting will take place next week on 28th of march at 9.00h am in the office of the senat (Schillerplatz E9)

The öh will send 2 people in this commission, but it must be two women (one full member/one substitute)

In an appeal to the Senates of all Universities the federal representatives demand a joint resistance
against the incompetence and irresponsibility of the policy towards a basic system of tuition fees. Secretary of education, Töchterle, gets critique for his consistent wooing levying of autonomous tuition fees by the universities.
