With our funding we contribute only to the proof of sufficient funds for living for the period of stay, for one year in advance.

Funding will be provided only for students of the Academy of Fine Arts.
For the purpose of solidarity towards your study collegues, we ask you to raise a sum of minimum 1000€ by yourself.

Very important! The renewal of the residence permit in Austria has to be
made before expiration of the validity, if the application is submitted
after, it is classified as a first application and has to be brought in from
abroad again!!.Please contact us at least one week before you apply at the MA 35.

What can I vote for the next two Years:

Study representatives:   
You can elect directly 5 candidates (for fine arts) as study representatives respectively 3 (in other studies) It’s an election of a person, the mode of the election does not allow to candidate as a group, if people work together collectively as study representatives every person of a specific group has to be voted.
Following study representatives can be voted for: Conservation and Restoration, Education in the Arts (Contextual Design, Textile Arts, Art Education), Fine Arts, Architecture, Doctorate Studies,  new>>Master in Critical Studies

University representation (UV):      
Represents the interests of all students at the University. Supports the students concerns in different committees, towards the ministries and the public. The University representation sends also one Person into the federal representation of the ÖH. Here you can only elect a list.

Dear Students,

As you may have heard, starting with the summer semester 2013 tuition fees have been reintroduced in Austria, in addition to the Student Union (ÖH) fees. The Erlagscheine have been posted, you may already have received yours or soon will. Please go to Studienabteilung if you do not receive your Erlagschein by 1 March.

Please note that there are many exceptions, which means that not everyone will be charged tuition fees. Moreover, in case of illness, participation in international mobility programmes etc. you will not have to pay student fees, either.

The access to networks, wich are woven inside between and around (art)universities is one of the
most important things to be learned within the studies in order to pursue an artistic “carreer”. The ones
who want to be “successful” have to start participating in the closed and limited access system of the
Academy or other structures that are not open to a broader not artistic established or academic trained
public. Often this networking is limited within the individual institutions and even more inside of the
classes.

40 % – you will decide if you want a jury or equal amounts (around 50€)

HOW IT WORKS

Group and Single Projects from the following areas: artistic, educational, political,
feminist, gender, anti-discrimination. We also encourage applications for political projects
that are not necessarily art related.
