HOW IT WORKS
Each Semester 9000 Euro
60 % – will be allocated according the a jury decision (between 200€ and 1000€)
40 % – you will decide if you want a jury or equal amounts (around 50€)
Group and Single Projects from the following areas: artistic, educational, political,
feminist, gender, anti-discrimination. We also encourage applications for political projects
that are not necessarily art related.
Please note: for political projects you have more chances of receiving a more substantial
fund from the Student Union Bundesvertretung. (We can provide more info.)

WHO AND HOW OFTEN
Anyone from inside or outside of the Academy can apply for project support.
The same person can apply twice a year: either for a Single Project, as part of a Group Project, or with a political project.
- Diploma Projects
- Projects that are carried out as part of a Seminar or that are organised as a „Class-project.“
- Projects that are party political or that are implemented in events that have a prevalent party political character.
- Projects that have a prevalent commercial character or that are implemented in events that have a prevalent commercial character.
- Projects that are implemented in other cultural institutions that normally give support (galleries, museums, cultural institutions).
- Periodical publications can be supported just once.
HOW TO APPLY
Please hand in at the Student Union Office the following PRINTED documents:
1. Filled in Application Form
2. Detailed description of the Project (texts, sketches, pictures, plans, synopsis, storyboard, goals, concept.)
3. Detailed Budget Plan

HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK
If your project gets funded, you will be informed per email about the amount of money granted to you. Please submit not lader than 10.06.2013, the following documents to the Finance Department of the Student Union (firstname.lastname@example.org):
· Some documentation of the finished or ongoing project (photos, website, etc.)
· Refund Application Form SIGNED
· Relevant bills IN ORIGINAL (Please read the Funding Guidelines!)
Payment is possible only after the submission of the above mentioned documents. The bills that you submit must be from the period of time in which your project took place. Please respect the Refund Application Deadline: 10.06.2013. If this is not possible, please reapply in October 2014.
Without the submission of the above mentioned documents, respecting the above mentioned deadlines, the project funding and the payout of the refund is not possible!

Material costs – Generally supported
. Equipment rental -Only if not available at the Academy
. Equipment purchasing – Only if not available at the Academy
When the equipment costs more than 100€ it will be considered the Student Union’s possession,
and has to be returned at the end of the project.
. Space rental – Generally supported. Please consider the Academy spaces or other cheap or free possibilities first. Explain your choice.
. Publications – Please submit price proposals from 3 different providers.
If you must choose the most expensive one, please explain your choice.
Nonprofit oriented publications are favored.
Periodical publications can be supported only once.
.Travel expenses – Transport. Please submit price proposals from 3 different providers. Please try to find the cheapest solutions. Unjustified travel expenses and tourism will not be supported.
.Travel expenses – Other Accommodation bills cannot be accepted.
Meals (restaurants, fast foods, Supermarkets, etc.) will not be supported.
.Conferences, seminars, symposia – Will be supported only if the information and experience accumulated will be shared with other students (workshop, project, exhibition, seminar, article, etc.)
.Fees and Honoraria – Only thirt-party fees and honoraria will be supported. Please justify your need of third-parties.
